About Carla
I'm a Spanish native speaker from Puerto Rico. I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a degree in Hispanic Literature and from the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico with a degree in Voice Performance. I've had tutoring experience with kids from elementary school through high school. I also have teaching experience in French and Spanish. I have a passion for the arts and languages. I enjoy teaching the subjects I love. I always like to keep the student engaged in the learning process. I do my best in giving them all the tools they need to succeed and feel accomplished.

Carla has been tutoring my six year old in reading Spanish. She is an amazing teacher and an amazing person. It is hard for a little boy to sit for an hour and read, yet Carla makes it fun and exciting. My son is making progress with his reading and has even asked to have an additional tutoring session! If you want someone to teach your child Carla would be your best choice. She is someone who is not only pushing my child's skill but building his love for learning. Grab her while you can!
