I have an M. Ed with an endorsement in special education (ages 0-adult). My B. S. is in Speech and Hearing Sciences and my A. A. program included a great deal of Early Childhood Education coursework. Additionally, in 2014, I completed a nurse's assistant training program during which time I renewed my CPR certification and First Aid. My professional experiences working with children began as a babysitter at age 13 and have since included daycare worker, nanny, tutor and teacher. My own children are now grown and doing well... my son has autism and he is how I truly found my passion. As an individual, you will find me to be positive, patient, creative and fun. I am always kind and I believe that manners and respect must be reciprocal for children as well as adults. Learning is a great passion of mine, as you might suspect and I encourage it in every activity. Learning can and should be fun it need never be drudgery. Activities that I enjoy are games, arts and crafts, cooking and baking. I love most anything outdoors especially in warm weather hiking, camping, kite-flying and geocaching especially. Car transportation is no problem. I have a safe newer model.
