Carina worked for our family for almost a year taking care of our 2 boys. While working for us she did a reasonably good job day to day. She was more of a playmate for our kids than an actual caregiver, and is extremely passive and timid. We found out in April that we were pregnant with our 3rd and she reassured us that this was not an issue and that she was in it for the long haul. Whenever we checked in with her she would say she loved caring for our boys and there were no issues. Then, our baby came 7 weeks early, and the DAY he was born she leaves after her shift and quits, out of the blue, via text, and has not answered a call or text since, leaving our family with a brand new baby in the NICU with two kids at home and two parents who work full time. Just days before she had told us everything was going great. Quitting a job as a nanny without any warning or explanation is more than unprofessional; it borders on cruel. We would NOT recommend hiring Carina.
