For the last three months I have been employed at Spectrum Center school as a Teachers Assistant. I have worked alongside the teacher and my co-workers to provide a safe, enjoyable, work environment where we can meet every child's individual needs and goals. In addition, majority of the students at Spectrum either have behavioral issues, cognitive developmental issues, or different diagnosis such as Autism or just non-verbal students. Also, I have interned at Solano Community College in the Adaptive Horticulture department teaching students about gardening and helping them apply for jobs in that field. Finally, I have worked with a number of children from infants to 12-year-olds in the youth program at my church for about 7 years along with babysitting numerous times. I love experiencing and exploring life with children.
