About Cameron

I enjoy tutoring because it's a way for me to give back to others while utilizing my strengths. Growing up I was blessed with having some educators who really cared about helping me. This gave me incredible opportunity to learn, receive support, and engage with my interests. But I was incredibly lucky. As I grew up I saw kids with the same burning passion I had slowly have it extinguished because educators and a system that didn't want to help them thrive. I've always had a passion for helping others. With the academic and communication skills I've developed, I feel I'm uniquely positioned to help students find their own success. I started tutoring in high school during my free period. My coach taught a class for kids on IEPs and I would spend my time in there studying. A lot of the kids needed help so I volunteered to help out where I could. I was definitely a learning experience and not something I was used but I quickly fell in love with it.
