I hired Britney to do respite care through the Arc of Butte County, last November. After I hired her, she told me that she couldn't go through Butte County because she didn't have her social security card. She told me that I would have to pay her cash. She was great with my daughter. I felt I was able to trust her alone with my daughter after the second visit. When I did talk to her, she was accepting and professional. However, I hired her because I had a surgery in December but she disappeared in December. She never got the paperwork done in January. In February, I told her I wouldn't take cash and to finish going to the Arc. On February 26th she finally told me she got the paperwork done after I had lost hours and hours of respite care. She was ready to work! I told her I would fit her in my new schedule and she quit on me the next day! It is very expensive to fingerprint and background check.
