My name is Brookelynn, and I'm a masters student at The University of Michigan School of Social Work. I earned a four-year academic scholarship to CMU where I graduated with a double major in Social Work and Gender Studies, I'm friendly, kind, and I have a lot of experience working with students. I recently worked at the Isabella County Restoration House, and I regularly interacted with children ranging ages 2-19. I have one full year experience tutoring high school students, and I've taught English as a Second Language at an orphanage in Oaxaca, Mexico. I have been trained in tutoring with the nationally recognized program AVID, and I myself have college credit in courses ranging from Psychological Statistics, Physics, Psychology, Biology, and a variety of Math courses. As a social worker, I understand how to work with people of all ages, and I can use my tool set to assist others in all subjects in a manner that makes the student feel confident, comfortable, and engaged.
