Hi, my name is Brittany and I am 26 years old and my passion is working with children with special needs. I have 11 years of experience working with children with autism. In the mornings I work as a preschool teacher for children with special needs at The School of Imagination in Dublin. Some children I work with have autism, speech delays, epilepsy, down syndrome, etc. I love my job, but since it is only part time, I would love to fill the rest of my day as a nanny so I can help more children. I am very familiar with the job requirements of being a nanny. The last family I worked with had two boys, one with autism and I stayed with them for 7+ years. I also have worked closely with ABA therapists and am familiar with the process. I have worked with children on all ends of the autism spectrum. I specialize in providing structure and routine to help the child have a successful day. I also like to help teach basic social skills and life skills to help prep them for the future. If you were to ask any of my past families or co-worker to describe me, they would say I absolutely love the kids and always have their best intentions at heart.
