I've been in the medical field for over 10 years and have experience with children ages newborn to 17 years old. I have tons of patience and I like to find things that the child/children and I have in common so we can either discuss it or act upon it. For example, I love singing, so anyone interested in music is someone I can always talk about. I've worked with special needs children for about 4 years. I have experience with MS, Cerebral palsy, CDKL, and more. I'm very compassionate and take pride in what I do. If I can put a smile on that child's face by the end of the day, my job is done :) I don't consider this a job, I look at it as becoming part of the family. We interviewed Brittany to care for our 6 year old who has special needs. She was on time, had a great sense of humor, and was very confident in her ability to care for children. At the time, we thought that we found someone else who would better fit our schedule but it did not work out. Given the opportunity, we would hire Brittany in a heartbeat.
