Hello there! My name is Brittany. I am 24 years old. Although it has been a while since I have used this site, I want to offer my services again to families. I am currently a stay at home mom to my daughter who was born in February 2013. She is my world and loves other children. We practice an attachment parenting style of parenting and I love the connection that I have with her. I have been providing care since I was 16 years old. I currently reside in Happy Valley, OR! Although my CPR/First aid certification is expired, I still am confident in my ability to offer it in times of need and will have no problems renewing it if needed. I have about a year left in my degree in ECE although life happens and I decided to take a break from schooling until I feel it is time to go back and finish. I am registered in the Central Background Registry clearing me to work with children in a licensed facility. I can find that documentation for you if you'd like! I am very laid back and think that playing is the way to go with children. My daughter is super smart and I always encourage playtime. I believe playtime is essential in children's development. I believe children learn as they grow. When we take my daughter outside, I always point out everything and she definitely catches on! I am cloth diaper friendly as I cloth diaper my daughter. I am also breast milk friendly and have a lot of experience in that aspect. I can watch children of all ages but prefer my daughters age. I can come to you but would also prefer to stay in my own home. I am very flexible with this aspect. Please feel free to ask me any questions!

I would not use Brittany again. She was very unprofessional. She canceled on me twice and was late once. The first time she canceled it was because of car trouble, so that was understandable. We rescheduled the next day. She arrived 30 minutes late and then informed me that she had a job interview in 2 hours, which was at least 20 mins. away at traffic hour. Needless to say I felt rushed through my grocery shop for my family of 5. It usually takes me 2 hours JUST to grocery shop, not counting packing and travel. The second and FINAL time she canceled on me was for no apparent reason but that she had a dinner date. When she did babysit for us, she left the house a mess, instead of "tidying up" after the kids slept. I have 3 boys. My husband and I came home to a messier house than what we left. I was very disappointed.
