I have experience in both a home and hospital setting as a Medical assistant that has allowed me to gain experience with a wide range of patients including those with Alzheimer's/ Dementia, cerebral palsy and quadriplegia. I am currently attending Mount Saint Mary's University where I'm studying to attain a bachelors in the science of nursing as well as a minor in child development/psychology. I hold a California State Medical Assistant certification as well as other certifications listed below in my "experience" section. I absolutely love working within a medical practice and have high hopes of one day becoming a nurse practitioner. I was raised alongside my sister who suffers from cerebral palsy, allowing me to gain plenty of experience working with the disabled as well as develop a high patience level and the ability to communicate with those who have special needs.
