From November 1999 to October 2005, I was a full-time caregiver for several different children, beginning with a newborn. My hours were 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Once the he began preschool, his mom began working from home and my hours were changed to part-time, but a baby sister was added. At 3 weeks of age, I began as her part-time caregiver as well. From October 2005 until July 2010, I was the full-time nanny to a fantastic family. My duties covered the complete daily care of the children, a boy, now age 12, and a girl who just turned 9. From August 2010 to May 2012, I was employed by a family with two boys. Today, they are ages 4 and 6. I worked 45-50 hours a week including every other Saturday. My duties were extended to that of household manager. The position also included extensive travel, mostly to Brazil and California. In May 2012, they decided to move back to California. Beginning in June 2012, I was employed full-time as an in-home nanny for a beautiful 12-week-old and her 2-year-old brother. Unfortunately, their mom lost her job and they had to let me go. In December, 2012, I became the full-time nanny to newborn twins, boy and girl, and am still currently with the family. In addition, I have taken on the overnight shifts for the care of twin newborns. The first time was in October of 2009, for a period of 6 weeks. In May 2011, I took care of fraternal twins, three nights a week, beginning at 8 days of age and continued until August. I am certified in infant/child CPR, First Aid training and completed a criminal background check. I am the single mother of a beautiful 23-year-old significantly handicapped daughter and an amazing 20-year-old son pursuing his PreMed undergraduate degree.
