I am currently a Master's of Occupational Therapy graduate student at Temple University hoping to work with children with disabilities in the future. I graduated from the University of Delaware with a major in Psychology and a minor in Disabilities Studies. I have worked with children with disabilities throughout all of high school, college, and grad school. I have worked as a one to one disability aid for a special services school where I was paired with a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I helped provide him with ABA, performed his daily activities, and made him feel truly happy at his school. I was also a tutor for children with learning disabilities, I have shadowed occupational therapists who treat those with a range of intellectual and physical disabilities, and I was a volunteer for Special Olympics. I have also held positions for clubs in my undergrad. I truly love working with those with special needs, and feel they have so much to offer the world!
