I have over 30 yrs experience in the hospital/medical field. I've made many critical decisions on my own due to my excellent knowledge & medical background & working night shift. I have worked on every age patient,& almost every disease. I've worked in the ER, peds, resp cardiac & all critical care units. I recently took care of a woman with Dementia/Cardiac /Mobility/Medical issues & a 96yr old man with Alzheimer's/ Dementia/Cardiac/Resp/Dysphagia/Mobility issues. I took them to all their appts/rides, shopping, etc. I managed their meds/exercises/mobility/meals/mental/hygiene needs. Brie went above and beyond for our family. She was the primary caregiver for us for 2 years. Medications, schedules, food, helping hire additional caregivers, doctors visits, hygiene, and more. Brie handled it all and made sure our grandmother was well taken care of and happy and does a lot of extra little personal things that go a long way in the relationship. Whether it was a snow storm and she had to stay over night, or my grandmothers clinical trial visits, she handled it all. There is no challenge you can't give Brie that she won't tackle head on. My grandmothers personality can be sweet but it can also be challenging and she handles the tough moments with grace.
