I have more than 20 yrs experience. I am vaccinated plus booster. I raised 2 sons with my Merchant Marine spouse who was away often. I was an Elem Ed teacher for 15 yrs.( including Special needs for 5 yrs.) I was lucky to care for 2 of 3 kiddos for 2 yrs in their home. I began with their 2 yr old who started preschool once I was asked to care for their new baby girl until they moved. She was 8 mo at the time. I also provided before and after school care for a 9 yr old with special needs until I moved . I absolutely enjoy young people. I provide a checklist of the day's events. I include learning activities as often as possible. Since moving West, I have Iworked with 2 yr old twins (the boy was non verbal so I helped with ways to communicate), and I worked with 3 girls. At first, it was just the 2 younger ones until Covid hit. Then, my teaching skills helped with online learning. I also worked with 2 kiddos who were amazingly gifted learners and the last was a 4 mo old girl for 22 mo.
