Hello! I have 18+ years experience working within the Special Needs community. I've volunteered with Jr LARCS, Special Olympics, and worked as a full-time nanny to 8 children of various Special Needs... in the same house! I have also a worked as a ParaEducator, working as a 1:1 aide to an Autistic/T1 Diabetic student. Though I'm thousands of miles away, I'm still in contact with his momma, offering support and advice. I, myself, am a T1 Diabetic, and the mother to a child with Epilepsy. I have a heart for all children with different abilities, have personally gone through the daily struggles (and joys!) of raising a kiddo of my own who faces difficulties of the outside world. I would find working with you and your child/children to be an absolute honor!
