I have worked at a summer camp for children with special needs with six years and have experience with family members as well as several volunteer jobs. I have also cared for children with no disabilities. I am very good at communicating with people who use nonverbal communication methods and helping people develop communication methods. I want to help people learn new skills and get along well in the world. I am very nonjudgmental and try to tailor my approach to a clients needs and desires instead if coming in with expectations. I am autistic and against ABA in general. I want to help your child function better but I do not wish to stop your child from stimming or necessarily teach compliance. This does not mean that I won't help your child stop doing problem behaviors, just that I disagree with ABA's general ways of doing things.
