I've worked with special populations on and off for the past 10 years, working directly in ABA for the past three. My passion is working with younger kiddos, particularly those who are just starting to develop language, but I love kids of all ages and abilities. My undergraduate background is in speech pathology and child development/learning so I absolutely adore watching kids communication develop and grow. I am currently in an applied neuroscience masters degree at UTD, and study autism at a research lab on campus. I am EMT, first aid and CPR certified and have experience utilizing these skills with children with and without special needs. My personal philosophy is to meet kids where they are at and help them build skills to communicate and succeed by finding what motivates or excites them!
