I have a special place in my heart for people with special needs. I have friends with Asperger's, and a little brother with Down syndrome who I fell in love with when he was born - I was 6 years old. That was 16 years ago. Special Ed teachers called me out of class to help out in times of mayhem in their classroom, even when I was in elementary school. I am very intuitive and a great interpreter for those who can't communicate through speech. You can count on me to be there every day and on time. I am trustworthy and respectful of your home and privacy. I will tailor my caregiving style to mesh with your child's personality and temperament and build an engaging day based on his/her interests. Count on me to make good decisions during an emergency and with the simple things like what to make for lunch. I am looking for a long term position. This is my calling.
