About Barbara

My passion is to help children develop confidence and growth in every area through fun and play. I have been working with children for over 10 years and have 2 of my own, they teach me to stay loving, fun and creative in a busy, fast paced world. I am 32 years old, bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish. I was born in Peru (South America) and moved to the US in 2001 with my family. Some of my hobbies are cooking healthy and creative meals, singing and listening to music, dancing zumba and gardening. For 7 years I taught Preschool and Pre-k at an accredited center where I discovered my love of teaching. I have also taught English online to children from different countries and through one-on-one face to face lessons as well. I worked as an interpreter for Worker's Comp patients interpreting medical appointments and physical therapies from English to Spanish and vice versa.
