UPDATE: I am available to help your child (grades K-3rd) with their homework or if they need extra help in reading and writing. I have been taking care of children of all ages for over 46 years. I have also played a strong role in helping to raise my 5 nieces and nephews. I have always enjoyed working with children. I have substitute taught for Arlington County public school system as well as for Huntington Learning Center and have been a private tutor for an English-as-a-second-language family. I was raised in a loving, Christian environment in which family was very important. I contribute my love of working with children to my mother as a role model. Recently, I have assisted in eldercare. It means a lot to me to be able to help others and make a difference in their lives. Other interests of mine include arts and crafts (I make jewelry), travel, visiting museums and historical sites, cooking and, of course, shopping!
