Barbara Jean C.
Through my involvements in a variety of different areas, I have gained a strong understanding of dogs and their behavior. I am currently the Executive Director and one of two head trainers for the New England Bully Breed Club. I plan, organize and manage all the club's events, public relations, funds and training programs all of which promote responsible dog ownership. In addition to my club experience, I have worked in kennels, day cares, grooming salons, training programs, breeding programs, pet retail, show kennels and have also competed and titled in AKC obedience, agility, rally and conformation. I've been teaching both group and private dog training lessons for years and absolutely love training and improving the bond people have with their dogs, especially when it keeps them in their homes! Training is an absolute true passion of mine and is what I love to do. Helping animals is simply what I was made for. I'm extremely good with people, calm, easy to talk to and organized in my work. I am able to both take and give direction well and remain productive and efficient under pressure and chaos.
I am truly committed to my clients and build trustworthy and honest relationships with them. People are not going to feel comfortable bringing their animals, who are members of the family, to someone that isn't completely honest, only in it for the money and doesn't really care about the individual's situation. I feel that customer service is key in building trustworthy and dependable relationships which are of the utmost importance. Thank you for all your time and consideration, I truly look forward to meeting new people and their dogs.
Here are some of my extra curricular activities:
* Competition obedience, agility, rally and freestyle classes
* AKC Dog Shows; obtained numerous AKC ribbons and titles in obedience, agility, rally and conformation
* Achieved both Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog International Certificates
* Assisted in both Golden Retriever and Australian Shepherd breeding programs
* Canine behavior seminars (Caesar Millan's, Terri Arnold)
