I adore working with the elderly and adults with special needs. Even in this day and age, I feel these people are ignored and mistreated. I love to bring help and joy into their lives. I have worked with seniors and adults with disabilities through the past 40 years. In the 70s, I ran a psych ward. In the 80s, I ran a shuttle business throughout NYC. In the 90s, I was heavily involved in community service for people of all ages. In 2000s, I cared for my mother with dementia. From 2010 onward, I became an elementary after-school and camp teacher; and worked on weekends caring for two adults with mental and physical disabilities.
