I live in San Rafael, and I know the hurdles many of these students have to climb. Academics is practically the only route towards social mobility and as a tutor, I hope to create a safe environment in which students can flourish. For the last couple of years, I have worked with middle school and high school students and occasionally college students. While I attended Sonoma, I worked in Moviendo Montanas a program, which cooperated closely with the students' parents and their teachers.
