Growing up I took care of my family starting at age 6. My mother has MS which is an autoimmune disease that affects the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system). It would leave her completely unable to function frequently. My father worked and traveled all the time, so I decided to be "mom" and help raise our family. I have a little sister with developmental disabilities, I taught her to walk, talk, socialize, and find things that bring her joy in life. What makes me happiest in life is to make sure that everyone is not only taken care of, but understood and heard. Through gentleness and sincerity, I am able to help people overcome trials, and understand that they are loved. I have also worked in a nursery for 2 years, which has proven even further to me that I love every aspect of caring for others. One of my passions is nutrition, and I love to cook! I have successfully lost 200lbs, and love to help others by cooking them nutritious meals, and teaching them how to as well. My college degree educated me on the sciences of the human body, which included what we can do to keep ourselves happy, healthy, and successful.
