I am a licensed special needs and elementary teacher and have over 10 years of teaching experience with students both with and without special needs within our area community schools. I decided to become a stay at home mom a few years ago when my youngest was born. While I enjoyed the time, I was able to spend with my children, I am ready to go back to work. I wanted to see what kind of opportunities were available outside of the school districts, and I am very excited to hopefully be able to provide the same type of outstanding care to children in my community! I do have four children of my own (two step-kids, but I have them full-time, so they're mine). My husband works varying shifts, but mainly afternoon and evening hours. My two oldest boys are 13 and 10 and my only daughter is 6, they all attend school during the day, and my 4-year-old son is home with me or his dad with hopes of preschool starting soon. I am very knowledgeable about working with children both with or without special needs, and feel very comfortable working with them on any areas you feel they need extra help. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. I love music and art so getting messy is a plus! On that note I am happy to do light housekeeping and meal preparation.

Ashley is a good friend of mine from high school. We reconnected after college when we were just starting our careers. I was impressed with the passion she had for education, both in her role as a teacher at the time and as a grad student. Ashley is a deep thinker, hard worker and a caregiver. She is loyal and gives very deeply of herself to the people and activities in her life.
