About Ashley

I am a teacher certified in all elementary levels and contents, as well as Special Education. I have been in Special Education for 6 years and have worked both as a resource and inclusion teacher, self-contained setting, as well as early interventionist specializing in Autism intervention. I have a M. Ed in Special Education and Educational Diagnostician, and am passionate about helping children of all ability levels reach their highest potential. I believe strongly in intervening as early possible and working with parents to help them understand the nature of their child's disability and how they can also support them. While special needs is my area of expertise, I also am passionate about helping any struggling student regardless of ability or disability. I am comfortable tutoring any elementary content, and have also worked with struggling readers and writers at the middle and high school levels.
