My main experience in caring for children with special needs come from the past 4 or so years. I have worked as a regular babysitter for several families. I have worked closely with children with ADD and ADHD. I am patient, responsible, and look for what methods work best for each individual child when it comes to homework, activities, listening, etc. I am a college student majoring in Architecture, although I have also taken classes in Child Development as it's something I am very interested in learning more about. I have also spent time caring for my elderly grandmother with dementia, as well as several physical problems. I am comfortable with both short term and overnight care. My current schedule gives me a lot of free time on weekend, as well as time on Mondays and Tuesdays. I am very reliable and would really enjoy something scheduled regularly.
