Hello! I am a recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh Doctorate of Occupational Therapy Program. Having graduated in the middle of a pandemic, obtaining full-time employment has been a challenge. I currently work part time on Mon/Thurs/Fri. I am looking to fill the rest of my week by helping families from my community. I am more than willing to negotiate hourly rates and my schedule is flexible. In graduate school, I worked as a personal care aide for 3 individuals with complex needs. I am comfortable completing transfers, assisting with toileting, hygiene, dressing, wheelchair management, working with adaptive equipment, and many other self-care tasks. As an occupational therapist, I work with individuals across the lifespan with a wide range of medical conditions and needs. I have the qualifications, experience, and passion to perform the duties needed to care for individuals with special needs.
