We, like many families have struggled trying to find just the right caregiver for our little 2 year old twin girls. April worked in our home loving, caring for, growing with, reading to, educating, laughing with, playing with, worrying about, observing and reporting to us everything we needed to know as working parents about the girls daily milestones and growth.
We trusted April and we found that she earned every bit of trust we placed in her. My house looked great when I got home at night, the girls were always clean, fed and content and April is still the only person who has ever been able to get them to nap on a regular basis!! The term "nanny" felt detached for us so I often referred to her as their big sister.. and that is how it felt, it felt like we were leaving our children with family.
I can't say enough good things. Our whole family misses April a lot! We had not found anyone that fit as perfectly before April and we have not found that same family fit since. If April ever moves back to Steamboat she would have a place within our family structure again in a heartbeat.
