I have been tutoring since I earned my master's degree in elementary education back in 2004. I started out tutoring at a Dyslexia Therapy Center and have enjoyed tutoring students who struggle with reading ever since. I have tutored at multiple learning centers (The Learning Lab at Brentwood) and have also had success with private tutoring on my own. I have learned many techniques along the way that have really proven to help my students. I am open to and have experience tutoring in other subject areas as well such as reading, writing, composition, math, science, art and history. I have taught home school students and helped out with summer school classes and test prep etc. I also provide assistance in interpreting IEP/Individual Education Plans and regularly attend student IEP meetings and or parent teacher conferences, etc. I truly enjoy teaching and building positive long-term relationships with students and their parents, teachers, coaches, counselors etc. I try to be flexible and am always open to ideas. I am very committed to my students and will do everything I can to help your child succeed!
