I have an incredible passion for teaching special needs children. As an elementary special education major in college, I hope to gain experience working with these children. My previous experience includes being a "friendship chair" in the Blue/Gold club at my high school. I had a "buddy" who had Down syndrome and who quickly became one of my best friends. We would go out to places like football games, restaurants, and bowling. I feel that I am qualified to nanny or babysit a special needs child because I have the compassion and drive that is just right for the job.
