I have a variety of childcare experience. Growing up, I frequently babysat for my younger siblings and cousins. When I reached legal working age, I was employed at the local YMCA day camp as a camp counselor. There, I gained valuable experience working with children of ages ranging from 4-13, guiding them through daily activities, keeping them engaged, happy, and healthy. I also have nannying experience working for a 3 child household. Here, I cared for 3 children ages 2, 6, and 8, making meals, doing laundry, providing fun activities, and transporting them to summer programs. During college, I took many classes in child development and identity development that furthered my knowledge about age-appropriate learning and developmental markers. I have a degree from the University of Vermont in Education.
