I've been working with students with mild-moderate disabilities for over a decade. I've worked in a non-profit organization programs, ages middle school through 22. Additionally, I have done respite care for families of children with special needs, particularly children who required g-tube feeding, seizure attendance, and behavior support- areas where someone with training and experience was vital and it was difficult to find a babysitter. I've also worked as a job coach for individuals with disabilities. Presently, I'm a special education assistant with public schools and the assistant director of a weekend respite camp program. I would love to find work with some great kids for the summer when school is out and I'm free to make my own schedule.
