Hello! My name is Ana, but people call me Alicia or Lili. I'm 51 years old, originally from El Salvador, and have cared for children for 22 years. I've worked with my past families for up to 9 years, and I care for their children as if they were my own. I have lots of experience with newborns and toddlers and can provide excellent references upon request! I will be available starting in September, and I'm looking to work full-time with a family with one child in Silver Spring or the surrounding areas. I live in Silver Spring and have my own transportation, and have been CPR certified (can renew upon request). At this time, I cannot accommodate nanny share requests. Because of COVID-19, I wear a mask everywhere I go and socially distance from other people. I always take care to wash my hands, and I keep any areas where the children play very clean. Ana Alicia (Lili to the kids) is a fantastic nanny with a remarkable caring nature and talent raising young kids. She has been nannying for over 20 years, and that experience shows in how she has cared for our now 1.5 and 4.5 year olds for the past two years. She's become a member of our family and will continue to be in our lives. She is very responsible and trustworthy, vaccinated and conscious of COVID protocols we put in place. She takes the kids outside twice a day and does a variety of playing, singing, art, and encouraging independent play. Our kids love her and rejoice at her name--running to the door when she arrives. She is also great at staying calm even in the face of the occasional tantrum. She speaks Spanish fluently and English very well, and will speak the language you request with the kids. She particularly loves babies but is also interested in older children. She would be a great help to any family!
