I have worked with the population since I was 13 years old. I started working as a camp counselor and worked my way up to becoming a head counselor. I then started respite care and during college I started being an assistant for extended school year autistic and learning support. Also, while in college, I worked at a School in residential and worked a lot in the classrooms and adult programs. I am now currently working as a teacher for autistic support program and work with Exceptional Learning as an ABA counselor for a family with two 8-year-old boys. I have a strong passion for the population and believe in striving for their independence whether it be simple tasks or living skills. I enjoy creating relationships with those who are on the spectrum or do have difficulty communicating because it means I have made an impact in their lives. I am a firm believer in their ability to understand what is happening around them and I am not the one to speak about a child as if they cannot understand. I take pride in my patience and understanding of the population. I am a certified teacher and have worked with the North Penn School District as well as Hatboro Horsham. I have all clearances up to date. I currently work with the Bucks County Intermediate Unit as a teacher. I have also tutored students in 3rd, 4th, 7th, and 8th grade in all subjects. I take pride in my ability to relate to students and help them the best way they can!!
