About Amy

Nurturing young minds is my greatest passion. For the past 11 years I have taught at a preschool with children ages 3-5. I dedicated myself to providing enriching and supportive care for children. I hold a college degree and have completed Early Child Development coursework. I hold a CT teacher certification ages birth to five. My approach is rooted in patience, creativity, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact. I am a mother of three adult children. I enjoy engaging children with board games, puzzles, educational activities and outdoor play. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I can provide daily written reports, offer verbal communication at pickup, and send regular updates via text or phone call. I am trained in First Aid and CPR. I am comfortable caring for two to three children. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your family.
