I am an experienced Spanish teacher (MS and HS) transitioning out of teaching full-time. Last academic year I taught 5th grade. As a sub, I've worked with pre-K -5th (I have been fingerprinted and background checked for every job I've ever held). I seek a full time job as a Personal assistant to a busy family that could include childcare, running errands, cooking, housekeeping, gardening, dog walking and more. I have two grown children who have their own lives so I would love to feel part of a loving family environment. I love animals and have no problem with big, energetic dogs! (I've lived many years with Golden Retrievers!) I'm a good listener, very intuitive, and bilingual in Spanish/ English. Also, I've taken First Aid/ CPR courses every two years for the past eight years and will be getting recertified soon. In addition, during high school and college, I worked as a swim instructor and lifeguard so I have taken the Red Cross water safety instructor class several times.

Amy G. was a Spanish teacher at Bentley School in Lafayette, California, from August 2014 to June 2015. All language teachers share an office and this gave me the opportunity to see her preparing her lesson plans and materials for all her classes, coordinating and helping colleagues with their preparation, and helping her students during the school day and also after school, always showing knowledge of the material and that she cared about her students. She is a very responsible and enthusiastic professional.
