I am moving to Redding, CA at Christmas, and hoping to start work as a nanny in Jan., 2015. I have been a nanny for 16 years, experience including complete child care responsibility from infancy to 15 years old. Also, basic household duties, mostly involving children, running errands and taking children to and from activities. I love children and like to know at the end of the day that I have made a positive impact on them, because that's what counts. I am a Christian and a responsible, outgoing, and patient person that gives a 101% to whatever I do.

We've know Amy since she became a nanny for our daughter over 4 years ago. We were introduced to her through a local nanny agency and knew immediately she was "the one". Initially Amy was employed on a part-time basis, but soon became full-time when I began graduate school. Amy arrived with a smile on her face everyday and a refreshing, positive attitude. It was obvious she was meant to be a nanny. Some of the responsibilities included: school and activities (birthday parties, field trips, play dates) drop-off and pick up, care on sick days, light shopping, light housework and homework help. Amy also stayed with our daughter in our home on occasion when my husband and I took long weekends away and cared for our daughter. When our daughter was 2 1/2, Amy traveled with our family for a vacation out of the country. This was a huge blessing to our family because not only were we able to participate in activities with our older children here and there, but my husband and I had time for adult dinners and some downtime while Amy cared for our daughter (nap time and some evenings). Amy's personality fits her role as a nanny. She is warm, dependable nurturing, responsible and loving. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend her. We are both willing to speak with anyone with specific questions. You'll love her too!
