I am a very laid back and easygoing person. I am flexible with staying late if needed. I am an animal person. I do have tattoos but they aren't offensive. I am a mother of two children, a 13-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son. I have been caring for children since I was 18 years old. I love doing arts and crafts, music and and story time. I provide snack and meals if needed and I am willing to cook and clean if needed. I can offer potty training.

Amy worked for us for approximately 6months. We overlooked many things such as her punctuality issues, her son's behavior issues and her lack of attentiveness/activities with the children. Many times we felt that the children were destructive or misbehaving to get her attention and that she was on her phone or computer a lot. She religiously watches soap operas. Perhaps our 3 children plus her own child was a bit too much for her. She did cook at times and cleaned the house which were appreciated but the fact that she ended our relationship by no-call, no-showing and leaving us high and dry was very unprofessional. She brought her child to our house with a red slurpee which was spilled all over and ruined our new carpet. Her son also pulled all of the foam safety covering off of our new trampoline. We feel that these things wouldn't have happened had the children been supervised. When we brought issues up, it was always blamed on our children and accountability was not taken. I would not hire Amy again if her child were accompanying her to the job. Due to the fact that my work/hours are flexible a lot of the issues we had with her were overlooked or excused. We were beyond understanding with all of her appointments and schedule needs as well. A person who works a normal schedule would not be able to rely on Amy. One day after we made a chart of activities for her to make sure the children did everyday, Reading, Writing, Craft, Tidy Playroom, etc. she didn't show up for work. We felt that a person who does childcare for a living should not need us to manage her time with the children. We believe she was working on her computer doing school part-time. We also felt the need to change our wifi password so she could not spend time online when she was supposed to be watching the children. The next day, she did not show up for work. I hired her based on her profile which says she enjoys arts and crafts and in 6 months she never did one craft or art project nor read to our children who are 4 years old and need a learning environment. Disappointing.
