I have worked in many capacities caring for children, on and off for the last decade. I began babysitting at the age of 13, ages ranging from infant (3 months) to 14 years old. I worked at the YMCA for 5 years as a camp counselor and head counselor, supervising kids ages 6-14. During my first year of college, I volunteered weekly at a tutoring center for children ages 5-11. The following summer I tutored students in Argentina, ages 5-16, and cared for younger students in the center under 5. The next year I was a program director for an after school tutoring program for at-risk elementary students. I held various nannying positions throughout college. I have specific experience caring for children with special needs (including autism, ADHD, intellectual and developmental disabilities, etc.). I am currently at law student at the U in Minneapolis and looking for occasional opportunities to babysit. Will only consider fully vaccinated families, including booster.

We struggle to put the truth on hear in fear Amy will receive too many offers that will book up her time to spend with our daughter...but...she is fantastic. Our 18mo is is going through severe separation anxiety, but when we left her with Amy the first time, no tears! She does a wonderful job distracting and playing as you're leaving. Can't say enough about her care, energy, and attentiveness towards our daughter!
