I have always been very passionate about children with special needs whether that is due to a developmental disorder or hearing loss. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasis on child development. As a result, I have extensively studied child normal and abnormal development. I feel my degree better enables me to care for children with special needs. I have also studied ASL fairly extensively going through ASL 4 which enables me to understand and fluently sign in ASL. I also worked with special needs kids when I was in high school so I have hands-on experience with them. I believe in patience, love, and educational stimulation for caring for children.
