I hope you are all doing well in this crazy time in the world. I am so excited to introduce myself to the Care. com community.
I have 13 years of caregiving experience. I was adopted at 7 years old, and from then until I was 18 my family helped foster children. My first real caregiving job was for a child with low functioning autism where I learned so much about love and patience. I have the deepest level of understanding of how important it is that a child is in a safe, encouraging, creative, happy environment that is meant for them to build and learn and grow into the most well rounded individuals. There is a very fine line between the environment a child can thrive in and one they can not. It is unmeasurably important that a parent knows that their children are safe, and given that space to thrive in and one they can not.
