About Amber

My first job out of high school was at an assisted living facility. I was a dietary server. I not only made sure that residents with specific diets were eating the correct foods, but I also communicated with the nursing staff to make sure medications were taken when they were supposed to be. I loved socializing with the residents and often stayed after hours just to hang out with them. I enjoyed listening to their stories and playing games. Now that I am married, my husband and mother in law work in retirement communities and nursing homes so we often host holiday events, fun activities, or dance for them (we love to dance). We were always both very close with our grandparents and valued their wisdom. Right now we occasionally go on walks or have game nights with an older couple who live down the street from us. I am respectful, patient, and never mind tidying up or making a meal. I am a non smoker and pets are no problem. I am CPR and first aid certified too.
