About Amber

I love working with children and have worked with children consistently throughout my life. I have done work as a nanny/babysitter for friends and family since I was about 11 and have enjoyed it ever since. I have worked at daycare facilities but enjoy working with the children more individually in their own home or in my home. I am CPR/First Aid certified and am a graduate with degrees in Elementary/Early Childhood Education. I have also worked with kids in after-school programs and coached volleyball, basketball, and a little soccer for school age children. I have also been a caregiver to people with many different disabilities which is something I also really enjoyed. I did my student teaching in a 5th grade classroom which was a wonderful experience and I learned a lot from it. I enjoy being involved with kids, as well as their families, to make a difference in their lives not just to watch out for their safety but to become a friend and positive mentor as well.
