I am a fun, energetic, caring, and nurturing person with great interpersonal skills and a natural affinity towards children. I have extensive experience in caring for twins, infants (2 weeks and up, both as a baby nurse and on a daily basis), toddlers and school age children. I also have experience with special needs babies and toddlers. I believe the best gift any parent can give their children is a healthy and supportive environment to grow in. I find that my inherently adaptive and easygoing disposition along with a healthy dose of structured support fosters just such an environment. I enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, playing tag and hide-and-seek. I love reading and sharing books with the children in my care. It's worth mentioning that I also rock at peek-a-boo. Puzzles fascinate me and I love the corner pieces. I love animals and get along with both cats and dogs. I also happen to adore Harry Potter (no judging!) and have a tendency to find the magic in everyday life. My current full-time nanny position to darling twin 7-year-old boys is coming to an end in October as they will participate in the after-school program offered by their school. This leaves me looking for my next great adventure! Could your family be the one? I'd love to hear from you!

Amanda worked for us for the last nine months and she was a wonderful full time nanny to our daughter, who she cared for from the time she was 4 months old. She's patient, loving and energetic. She was very willing to schedule play dates for our daughter, take her out to the zoo, and keep her days filled by reading to her and generally having a good time.
She's also incredibly neat and organized, which is especially helpful with an infant. She was a great help to us and has great experience working with infants and toddlers.
She was also very willing to accommodate our schedules when we needed it.
All around, a job well done.
