My education background is in Bachelor's of Science in Psychology, which I earned last year February, 2014. I graduated with a 3.81 GPA. My work experience is varied and I am exceedingly proud of the work I completed during the two years I worked as a victim's advocate at a sexual assault crisis center. After leaving my volunteer work, I worked six months with special needs individuals, and since August of 2014, I have worked with children with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) and cognitive disorders at a charter school named Accel. In November of 2014, I applied and was granted my substitute teacher's certification, and I have been working at the same school since November of 2014 as a long term substitute teacher. My work with special needs children has granted me a wealth of knowledge and problem solving skills concerning children, whether they be special needs or average functioning children.
