I helped out for a couple years with my friends brother who is the same age as me, but has the mentality of a 3-year-old. He has a strong case of Cerebral Palsy disorder. He cannot do anything on his own. He cannot speak, move, nothing. He is fed through a tube from his stomach, he wears diapers, and has to be bathed daily, to keep his incision areas very sterile. Also, I have a friend who is 3 years older than me, a male, who also has Cerebral Palsy. He can do more things on his own though. He can drive, carefully. He can shower. He needs help eating, its hard for him to bring the food to his mouth with a fork or anything, he has to drink with a straw, and it is still somewhat difficult. He needs help having his house cleaned. And his bed made and laundry, etc. I have been there to help him for years now and would do it everyday if I could!
