I worked for an 81-year-old lady who had Alzheimer's in 2010 and I loved every minute I was able to spend time with her. Despite her sometimes forgetting, she had many memories of good times in her life (and bad ones) that she shared with me. I cooked and cleaned for her, prepared meals for the week, helped her dress/bathe, did laundry, organized and just kept her company. She actually got to the point where she had to be moved into a nursing home and could no longer be at home.
I am passionate about taking care of those who need to know that they are loved and I definitely feel fulfilled knowing I spent each day making sure the person I'm caring for knows that.
