Greetings! I am currently studying secondary history education at SIUC. I have been nannying in the area for almost a year now, but I have 4 years experience prior to moving to Carbondale. Due to the pandemic, all of my classes are online allowing me to have a very flexible schedule for working opportunities. I have a lot of experience with remote learning for kids of all ages. I can be a tutor for most subjects as well, with history/social studies being my strong suit! I am a clean freak in my own home, so I am also able to do some tidying up around the house, organizing, or a deep clean if necessary. Now that restaurants have been open for indoor dining it is a great opportunity for a weekly date night! Let me watch your children for a few hours and allow you some time to relax. Alyssa is such a blessing to our family!! We have eight children and my husband and I both work full time. She is always on time and is very accommodating with schedule changes. She is fantastic at keeping up the housework and maintaining the schedule we set for the kids. She taught our four year old to write her name and her ABC's. She reads with the kids everyday, even during the summer. She made games out of cardboard and always keeps the kids busy. We absolutely love her!
